People

LabForce1 engineers have design, research and measurement expertise in different fields of the oil- and gas industry.

On an individual basis each LabForce1 engineer brings in at least 25 years of expertise gathered in the EP industry, which accumulates to over 300 years of experience. Basically our engineers are well trained people to do a solid job.

The lab engineers have been working in a modern research environment, where all different kind of measurements were performed ranging from routine based tests towards newly designed complicated test rigs which have to be tested and its components to be calibrated. Test conditions ranged from basic room conditions up to high pressure at high temperature conditions which sometimes had to be maintained in an extreme hazardous environment, which of course sets the scene for safety to the equipment to be used and the man operating and controling this equipment.

Our technical supporting engineers are highly skilled people who can be considered as a indispensable shackle in the chain which leads to reliable and safe testing equipment. If a part of a test rig is not commercially available on the market LabForce1 is capable to design, construct, calibrate and safety test this part based on clients specs.

Henk Weeda

Basically worked in Reservoir Engineering developing different sophisticated high pressure/high temperature experimental flooding equipment. His experience in core analyses is well developed. He spent a few years on data acquisition of North Sea wells. Total years of experience is 25 years.

André van Paassen

25 years of lab experience in well engineering viz. screens, sand production, sand consolidation, matrix acidizing. His experience with problem solving during field operations was helpful.

Gerard Schotting

Gerard not only designed and constructed safe energy supplies, ect. for large or small lab equipment according to NEN …. but he also has experience in energy supplies.

Herman Vrijdag

His experience, spanning a period of some 30 years in a research environment, covered activities in the field plastics, sand consolidation, lab and office safety. His advisory job in Oman on ergonomics was much appreciated.

Bram Faas

Bram has an extended experience in the field of safety testing of high-pressure equipment using different tools. He is a recognized focal point when dealing with high-pressure flow lines.

Fred Gaemers

Core handling (photography, slabbing, drilling, ect.) and front end measurements (gramper, rock slice) on cores is Fred's experience for quite some time.

Aart Andeweg

As a construction engineer Aart has developed and designed a large variety of different tools, which were used in the EP research environment.

Hans Schut

Extensive field work experience in the Netherlands and abroad. Spent most of his time in geophysics. He is well known for his work shop experience. Hans is a qualified to handle dynamite.

Don Lankau

An experiment, which used buried geophones to overcome the problem of the weathered layer is the last project Don dealt with. Next to that he also knows about revolutionary and conventional (airgun/watergun) downhole sources.

Paul van Hoek

Paul has a long-term experience as projectleader of experimental seismic field surveys either on- or offshore. Further he has a broad experience in seismic sources as he has been accountable for different source evaluation projects.

Gerard van der Stap

Gerard is well known because of his elaborated craftsmanship as an intrumentalist in the workshop. His extensive list of complicated lathe made high precision dimensioned equipment is still much appreciated.

Bert Elstrodt

Being the manager's assistant for years, Bert was able to develop his hobby to a high level: computer hardware specialist.
